This week, Seed Valley will for the fourth time host the European Plant Breeding Academy (EPBA), a two-year study programme for plant breeders. This international Master’s programme is one of the measures taken by the international seed sector to bring more highly-qualified breeders on stream.
The study programme is organized by the University of California in Davis (USA). Lectures and practical course components are supported by experts from Seed Valley partners Syngenta, Incotec, and Bejo.
A permanent feature of the EPBA training week in Enkhuizen is a sailing trip on the IJsselmeer.
