An international group of 34 students started their academic year right! They exchanged their last week of summer holidays for Summer School. During this week, they took a trip to different breeding companies. The BSc students, from various life-science studies, explored the knowledge-intensive and innovative industry. Within one week, they discovered how companies worldwide contribute to the sustainable production of healthy food and quality of life.
Like every other year, we welcomed the motivated students into Seed Valley. This time, they visited Dekker Chrysanten. The group got a tour of the company, where the whole process from seedling to chrysanthemum was shown. Afterward, different cases were made and presented, varying from breeding to marketing.
