Put your name down for the Seed Valley All Stars.
The All Stars team, comprising runners from various companies in Seed Valley, will be ready and raring to go at the starting line of the Agriport A7 Half Marathon on Sunday 3 October 2010, two weeks after the Dam-to-Dam race and two weeks before the Amsterdam marathon/half marathon. This makes it an ideal event to squeeze something extra from your many hours of training for the Dam-tot-Dam run, or as a dress rehearsal for Amsterdam.
With wild autumn weather, it can be a tough run. The start and finish is at Wieringerwerf. The 21 km course is in the shape of a saucepan and follows the long, dead straight roads through the Wieringermeerpolder to the turning point at Agriport A7, the large-scale business park for horticulture, agribusiness and logistics. This is where North Holland’s entire agrarian chain literally comes together, and naturally Seed Valley has to be there too!
As well as the 21 km, you can also register for the 13 km or 6.5 km run. Though still a young event, it has already spawned a fine tradition in the presentation of a nutritious and healthy trophy to all participants at the end: a bag of products from Agriport A7, such as sweet peppers, iceberg lettuce and tomatoes.
