Two pioneers, separated by a century, yet connected by the same entrepreneurial spirit. In 1856, Matthias Christian Rabbethge began breeding sugar beet in Germany. A century later, Popke Vriend started his own journey with beans in the Netherlands. Although they never met, they shared the same mindset: start small, think big and never stop looking for ways to improve.
